Managing to still be "happy".
A simple smile
With it's irony...
Keeps my joy
At bay...
Listening to songs
As if I'm floating...
Let's my mind
Reflect on feelings
Of the one I'm missing.
Leaves me feeling far away...
Obligations impending
Pushing, pulling, straining...
Skipping through.
Isn't life supposed to be lived?
What an impact created
Being late to work today.
